EGShares sector ETFs are designed to provide exposures to emerging market companies within a specific sector that investors anticipate will outperform over time.

Sector investing is an alternative to expressing an investment thesis than country investing, which carries very specific currency and geopolitical risk. For example: rather than purchase a specific country fund for a specific sector exposure, such as a China fund for exposures to financials or a Russia fund for oil exposures, related sector funds can express the same investment point of view, diversified over a number of countries and currencies, which helps mitigate portfolio risk. Sector investing also grants investors the opportunity to leverage economic cycles within emerging markets.

EGShares portfolio includes energy-, financials-, and metals and mining-specific sector ETFs. Additional information about each of our sector ETF products can be found in the left menu.
